By entering a competition on this multi-author Blog site or via any of our social media channels/accounts, you are agreeing to us storing and using your information for marketing purposes.
IMPORTANT: All entrants are expected to have read and agree to our Privacy Policy that explains how we use any personal information we collect and store from competition entries:
  1. We will not share your information with any third party without your permission.
  2. If entry is via email, your email address and any given data will be added to our database and you agree to receive promotional emails from time to time.
  3. You can opt out at any time by clicking on ‘unsubscribe’ on any email received.
  4. If supplying any images/photos/videos to the site and/or to any social media channels run and managed by this site, you are granting permission for these to be used online via this site and its associated social media channels.
  5. By submitting your images/photos/videos you understand and agree that we have no obligation to publish your images/photos/videos.
  6. You must be the author/copyright holder of all images/photos/videos submitted.
  7. Entries must be submitted no later than 23:59:59 GMT on the ‘closing date‘ as specified in any given competition from time to time.
  8. The competition winner(s) will be informed/notified by one of a number of given means of contact with allocated times given for the person to respond/claim their prize, namely:
    1. By Email – up to 24hrs to respond and claim the prize
    2. By Messaging through social media platforms – up to 4hrs to respond and claim their prize
    3. By Telephone – immediate response.
  9. Failure to respond/claim under any of the above will result in another correct entry being drawn and notified in the same way. This process will continue until a winner is found.
  10. The competition winner(s) will be announced within 48hrs of the winner(s) accepting the prize.
Entry rules: please read the following rules carefully. If you enter one of our competitions, we will assume that you have read these rules and agree to abide by them:
  1. To enter this competition you must be 18 years of age or older at the time of entry (unless otherwise stated on the materials relating to the give competition/promotion).
  2. Employees of the company/companies featured in the competition, their immediate friends and members of their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
  3. Incorrectly completed entries will be disqualified.
  4. No responsibility can be accepted for entries that are not received for any reason whatsoever.
  5. The winner(s) will be the entrant(s) selected by a judge (or number of judges) as appointed by us.
  6. The judging decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  7. The closing date is as specified: however, we reserve the right to amend the competition end date at any time.
  8. If you win this competition, we will notify you by one of the three means stipulated above.
  9. The prize is non-negotiable.
  10. The prize is non-transferable.
  11. No prize or part of a prize is exchangeable for cash or services.
  12. If any advertised prize is not available, we reserve the right to offer an alternative prize of similar value.
  13. In the event of any promotional partner failing to provide any element(s) of any competition prize for any reason whatsoever, we will act in good faith to endeavor to replace that/those element(s), but cannot be held responsible for that/those element(s) not provided.

We reserve the right to amend these rules at any time. We may also create rules that will apply to a specific competition only. If we do this, we will publish the amended competition rules and/or specific competition rules on the relevant competition page.
