Helping the next Gen …
We have been delighted to support Bell Baxter High School over the years – especially when that support enables them to find careers for school leavers in and around Cupar. And now the school has the exciting opportunity to work with Cupar and North Fife’s future workforce …
Daniel Halshall of the school’s Developing Young Workforce Team explains: “We are looking to work with local employers to support the skills development and employability of our young people. To do this we are looking to relate the skills our young people are learning in class to the world of work.”
They are looking for employers who may be able to support any of the following:
- Classroom Talks
- Careers Fairs
- Employability/Other Workshops
- Site Visits
- Work Experience
A new Scotland-wide work experience system WorkIt has been launched – an online system that makes work experience more manageable and accessible. Daniel adds: “We have developed an approach for work experience that would bring the most benefit to young people, the school, and employers.”
