Winning is in the Twinning!
We’re delighted to share news from Cupar’s Twinning Association who have received video clips and images captured at the arrival of the Olympic Torch as it passed through Cupar’s twin town in France – Sainte-Menehould.
Those who were around to witness the London Olympics in 2012 will recall the torch procession around the country as all counted down to the games being staged. The Paris Games 2024 start this week – the opening ceremony is on Friday 26th July – and will be followed by just over two weeks of extraordinary sporting challenges and competitions.
