So many people are going the extra mile just now. Whilst we’re in lockdown and huge numbers are stuck at home, others are working around the clock to keep us stocked up on essentials and to ensure we are safe and well – whether in our homes or in hospital. We wanted to allow folk to say ‘thank you’ – so we’ve launched Cupar Troopers …

In our day to day work, we are speaking with business owners across Cupar as well as many organisations who are providing care and support. Everyone wants to do their bit – to do their best to help. Businesses have offered all manner of goods and services. We have helped some to hook up and work together – and we’ve also directed a number to Fife Voluntary Action’s Helping Hand portal … where anyone can offer to lend a hand. And we’re working with the team that have set up and are running the town’s Covid-19 Mutual Aid Group … an amazing bunch of volunteers giving their time to help the most vulnerable in our community.

This is about recognising individuals – our real troopers across Cupar. Our Facebook page is sharing more and, from time to time, businesses will be giving us small gifts to give away as random acts of kindness to pass on to Cupar’s Troopers …
