Its in the bag!
Kilmaron School have been working as Community Volunteers. Jennifer Harvey from Kilmaron brings us up to date on the work they have been carrying out …
“We have been carrying out litter picks in the areas around our school, and our new initiative is to make dog poo bag dispensers.”
Jennifer explains that, when dog walkers are out and about and either forget to bring one or unexpectedly run out, that their dispensers will help to keep the area clean and tidy, adding: “We’re asking any dog walkers, who are able to do so, to help keep them filled and we will check on them regularly too.” What a great idea!
Jennifer adds: “We discovered that Cupar Colts have been having problems with dog poo not being picked up at the grass area on Moathill Road, which is one of their training grounds, so we put one there.” So far, there are 6 dispensers. Jennifer hopes that they will come in handy and that they will make a positive difference to the local community.
A big thank you to all those at Kilmaron who have helped on this project.
