Public Consultation on Cupar North

Persimmon Homes North Scotland are undertaking a review of the Cupar North extension proposal currently under consideration by Fife Council under planning reference 15/04279/EIA. A period of public consultation on the proposals will run from the Thursday 10th – Friday 25th June 2021.

Public Consultation on Revised Masterplan for Cupar North Proposal comprising of Residential, Commercial, Primary School, Green Network and Associated Open Space/Recreational Land/Sports Pitches, a Relief Road and Associated Road Infrastructure.

The updated Masterplan encompasses:

  • 1,480 homes including 20% Affordable Housing
  • A new primary school
  • Green Network and associated open space for recreation, sports pitches
  • A relief road

The commercial aspect of the plans includes:

  • Bulky goods retail
  • Business
  • Hotel
  • Restaurant and associated hot food takeaway
  • A petrol station
  • Leisure use

Persimmon Homes North Scotland is actively encouraging members of the community to get involved in an open discussion and offer their feedback on the updated Masterplan prior to submission of the final Masterplan to Fife Council.

Virtual Consultation Event

A Virtual Consultation Event is being held for the purposes of community consultation on the updated proposed Masterplan for this development proposal.

This event will take place on Wednesday 16th June 2021 between the hours of 1pm – 7pm.

The event can be accessed online at www.cuparnorthconsultation.co.uk and by clicking on ‘Live Chat’ (please note, this site will not be live until Thursday 10th June).

The updated Masterplan will be available for public comments from the 10th June 2021 and can be viewed online at www.cuparnorthconsultation.co.uk

The public are able to make comment on the proposals directly to the developer at this stage:

  • At the above event
  • Through the website during the consultation and/or
  • In writing to cuparnorth@bartonwillmore.co.uk

Comments must be submitted no later than 25th June 2021.

Please note that all comments must be sent to the developer to the contact details stated above and not to Fife Council.

There will be an opportunity to make representations to the Council as and when a formal planning application for the proposal is submitted.
