Fife Show 2026

One of the best days in the local calendar approaches – the Fife Show on Saturday 23rd May. All are invited to this great family-friendly event … one of the most popular agricultural shows in the country.

Since 1821, an annual Show has been held in Fife to “encourage and showcase the breeding of livestock“.

Today, The Fife Show is bigger and better than ever …

Thousands of visitors come to see livestock at close quarters as well as an array of machinery – both vintage and modern.

The show retains the feel of a traditional agricultural event, it has extended its activities into the realms of wider environment and related countryside issues …

  • A Game Fair Area
  • Main Ring Entertainment
  • Craft Tent
  • Pet Show
  • Food & Drink Sections with a Food & Cookery Theatre
  • Trade Stands
  • Showjumping
  • Amusements for the children including the Kids Countryside Tent

They all combine to ensure that the Show provides a great day out for all ages.

Accessibility

Please read this statement from the show organisers: “The Fife Show takes place on 60 acres of grassland, some of which is uneven terrain; and weather conditions, before and during the event, can make it difficult, sometimes perilous, for people with mobility difficulties. We are keen to provide access to all within these limitations and continually strive to improve so that as many people as possible can enjoy our one-day Agricultural Show. Please read our full Accessibility statement here.

A flavour …

Below are some images we have captured over recent shows and just give a snapshot of the day. There is so much to see and do at the Show. Please keep an eye on the Show’s own website and social media channels in the countdown for more. You can also check out their FAQs via this link.

Get involved?

The Show is run by volunteers and its aim is to promote, support and work with agriculture in Fife and beyond.

They encourage individuals to become involved at whatever level suits them – as a new, participative committee member; as a volunteer to help set-up or steward on the day or as a friend of the show in another capacity. Help is needed in many areas and always very much appreciated. If you can help, please get in touch with them via this link.
