St Andrews Management Centre is thrilled to announce the appointment of Tom Bishop as Associate Director.
Delighted to share this update from Cupar-based St Andrews Management Centre …
Tom is a familiar face to many of STAMC’s clients, having worked with us as an Associate Trainer since January 2019. During his time with us, Tom has become a highly valued member of the STAMC team and his interpersonal skills, strategic mindset, and passion make him an invaluable addition to our senior team.
He is a highly skilled consultant, facilitator, and coach with extensive experience across private, public and voluntary sectors. Tom is adept at tailoring projects to meet client needs and organisational cultures. His areas of expertise include:
- ILM-accredited programme delivery- designing and facilitating executive coaching, management training, team development, recruitment, and retention programmes
- Psychometric assessment British Psychological Society certified in Hogan and other instruments for executive recruitment and development
- Major event and project leadership- returning in April 2024 after managing roads contracts for the 2023 UCI Cycling World Championships in Scotland, coordinating operational partners, local authorities, and historic venue stakeholders

Also joining the STAMC ranks is Suneel Gopal. Suneel will be taking on the role of Associate Consultant, bringing with him over 30 years of experience in Marketing, Sales, and Commercial experience working in Hospitality, Franchise, Grocery, Print, Consumer Data and Marketing Agency sectors. Most recently, Suneel worked with Experian Marketing Services as an Account Director looking after Enterprise Clients.
Suneel’s initial focus at STAMC will be developing new business but he is also keen to use his experience in marketing, consumer data and consultative selling to develop new training courses to complement STAMC’s existing portfolio. He is especially excited about the opportunities to develop bespoke training programs for STAMC clients: “Having watched the growth and success of St Andrews Management Centre for several years, I’m delighted to now be part of a highly talented team brining first class training programs to not only Scottish Companies but also International Organisations. I’d love to discuss how we can make your Company more efficient, successful and profitable.”
Company Director Jeff Lockhart is pleased to welcome a long-standing friend to the team: “I would like to welcome Suneel as the “new guy” on the team, although our friendship goes back over 50 years- first as friends at High School and then studying together at Stirling University. Not only is his approach and personal qualities a great fit with St Andrews Management Centre, but he also brings a much-needed skill set to our organisation.
