Community Market Stalls 2024

Throughout 2022 and 2023, CuparNow has sponsored community stalls at Cupar’s Market, helping to promote and support those who took part. We are repeating it in 2024. If you are part of a community group in and around Cupar, this is your chance to be on the calendar …

All stalls are offered on a ‘first come, first served‘ basis. Some groups who already work closely doubled up on certain market days to help.

The following dates are Market days in Cupar through 202. They are all the third Saturday in each month:

20th January  |  17th February  |  16th March  |  20th April

There is no Market in May to help ease traffic for the Fife Show that is held on the same Saturday

15th June  |  20th July  |  17th August

21st September  |  19th October  |  16th November  |  21st December

The Market is run by Markets Between Two Firths.

We sponsor the pitch cost. It is down to each community group to liaise directly with Cupar Market over the pitch requirements, risk assessments and insurance. You have to provide your own gazebo. All the information you will need can be found via this link.

When asking for a slot, we ask that you state a 1st and 2nd preference re months so we can allocate days accordingly.

Once we have enough numbers to fill the year’s calendar, we will notify all and share your details with the Cupar Market; they will liaise with each group over what is required in the countdown to the given date.

Finally, we would stress that the market is weather dependent. Once your slot has been allocated, if the market is cancelled for any reason, we will do all we can to work with the Market to try to accommodate rescheduling. They worked hard in 2023 to move the market indoors into the Corn Exchange when space allowed to ensure the market could go ahead when the weather was too bad for it to be held on Crossgate.
