Connecting Cupar to Guardbridge

Sustainable Cupar has asked us to share information on the upcoming event for all those who are interested in proposals for an active travel (walking, wheeling and cycling) route between Cupar and Guardbridge.

Arup, on behalf of SEStran (South East Scotland Regional Transport Partnership) and Fife Council, are developing proposals for an active travel route as part of the SEStran Strategic Network, a “high quality regional active travel network” across the south east of Scotland.

The project team will be hosting the SEStran Cupar to Guardbridge Active Travel Community Workshop at the Old Parish Centre, Cupar on Tuesday 5th December between 6pm and 8pm.

Interested?

In order for them to manage numbers and their own staffing on the night, they ask that anyone interested please email to register that interest via this link – and they will send you a calendar invite to the event.

What will be covered?

The session will give you the chance to provide feedback on the key issues and opportunities related to walking, wheeling and cycling between Cupar and Guardbridge and the surrounding area. During the workshop, your views will be welcomed on …

  • What are the key services and facilities between Cupar and Guardbridge and the surrounding area?
  • What are the key barriers and opportunities to walking, wheeling and cycling in the area?
  • Where would you like to see walking, wheeling and cycling improvements?
  • What types of walking, wheeling and cycling improvements would you like to see?
