Cupar’s Local Place Plan
A series of public meetings – designed to gather suggestions for buildings and sites that local people would like to see developed for inclusion in a Local Place Plan – is being delivered by Cupar Development Trust.
After wide consultation across Cupar & District on the Community Action Plan – and the possibility of an Arts & Culture Hub with a future new Museum – several possibilities for development have been identified.
Proposals that are included in the Local Place Plan submission will be considered for inclusion in the Fife Council Local Development Plan for 2024 and beyond.
The Trust is asking …
“If you or your organisation would like to nominate a site/building that you would like to see developed, please come along to the relevant focus group meeting from the list below and tell us your thoughts.”
Cupar & Country
Cupar’s Fife Council ward area includes the villages of Blebocraigs, Ceres, Dairsie, Craigrothie, Pitlessie, Springfield – in addition to Cupar town.
Each of the themed consultations will incorporate a short introduction explaining what a Local Place Plan (LPP) is, and why is it important that the community submits a comprehensive LPP for our area.
Attendees will then have an opportunity to put forward their thoughts and suggestions.
