Congratulations to the pupils from Bell Baxter High School who attended the Fife Schools’ Burns Competition at Auchmuty High School in Glenrothes.

They were placed as follows:

• S5/S6 Vocal Category:
  • Helen Black (S6) – 2nd Place
• S3/S4 Vocal Category:
  • Anna Black – 3rd Place
• S3/S4 Instrumental Category:
  • Anna Black – 1st Place
  • Annie Mackenzie – 3rd Place
• S3/S4 Recitation Category:
  • Holly Hamilton (S3) – 1st Place
• S3/S4 Bagpiping Category:
  • Magnus Porter – 1st Place

Some of the competitors will progress to the Scottish Burns Competition final in Ayr at the end of this month.
