Turning up the heat …
We are delighted businesses, organisations and community groups are signing-up to CuparNow – from Cupar and across north-east Fife. One of the very first to do so? Letsgo TNT Gas & Heating Engineers, based just outside the town at Moonzie.
The company is “proud to serve Cupar and the surrounding areas” with “top-quality central heating services“.
Owner, Tom Gair, tells us: “We are known for our reliability and expert workmanship. Customer service is at the heart of everything we do – our friendly, professional team is committed to delivering a hassle-free experience you can trust. Many claim it, but we really do go the extra mile to keep homes warm and safe.”
He tells us that he got into the business because he saw a “real need for reliable, customer-focused heating services” in our local community. Tom adds: “With a passion for helping people and years of experience in the gas and heating industry, we wanted to create a company that not only delivers high-quality workmanship but also prioritises customer care. It’s always been about more than just fixing boilers – it’s about building trust and making sure our customers feel looked after … from start to finish.”
Your inspiration?
Tom says that his biggest inspiration has always been the people in the community: “Seeing how much of a difference reliable heating and great service can make in someone’s home really motivates us to do things better. That’s what drives us … to provide a service that’s not only professional but genuinely caring and dependable.”
Alongside Letsgo TNT Gas & Heating Engineers, Tom’s wife Thelma – also a director in the business – started Letsgo TNT Cleaning. Tom says: “Both businesses complement each other really well. While we focus on keeping homes warm and safe with our heating services, the cleaning side helps make sure they’re fresh and spotless too! We often hand out each other’s business cards to clients, and it’s been a great way to offer a complete, trusted service.”
What is your USP?
As a family-run business, Tom says they take pride in delivering reliable, high-quality work while making the entire process friendly, stress-free, and personal: “And so our unique selling point is simple – we combine expert heating services with exceptional customer care you can trust” adding: “We’re not just about fixing boilers – we’re about building lasting relationships with our customers, and with our sister cleaning company, we offer an extra level of convenience.”
How many people do you employ?
Letsgo TNT Gas & Heating Engineers is a “small, dedicated team“. Tom explains: “At the moment, we employ two people across both Letsgo TNT Gas & Heating Engineers and Letsgo TNT Cleaning – and that close-knit team allows us to maintain a personal touch. It ensures every job gets the attention to detail and quality our customers have come to expect from us.”
Greatest achievements?
Tom is passionate about customer service – and so it is the feedback he receives from his clients that he sees as his greatest achievements: “The strong reputation we’ve built in Cupar and the surrounding area is something that makes us very proud. Positive feedback and word-of-mouth recommendations we receive are a huge testament to our team’s hard work and dedication.” Another big achievement? Expanding the cleaning arm of the business to offer clients a broader range of services whilst maintaining the family-run and community-focused ethos: “For us, happy customers and growing through trust are our biggest wins.”
And finally …
We ask all featuring on our Blog what you would recommend to someone visiting Cupar for the first time, or for the first time in a long time? “Cupar is a fantastic place with a lot to offer I’d definitely recommend exploring the beautiful countryside around the town, like a walk through Tarvit Hill for stunning views. A visit to the Hill of Tarvit Mansion is a must for history lovers, and you can’t go wrong with a wander through Cupar’s charming town centre, full of great independent shops and cafés. And of course, if you’re looking for a bite to eat, there are plenty of fantastic local spots to enjoy some classic Scottish hospitality!”
