Cupar – a national finalist!
CuparNow has been recognised in the UK-wide Good Retail Awards – reaching the finals for their Retail District Award.
In 2020, we won the Digital Impact award. This year’s awards recognised our work in providing support as a ‘whole town’ solution.
We’d like to thank the award organisers and are delighted to share some of the wonderful comments from the judging panel …
Catherine Erdly, Founder of the Resilient Retail Club: “I remember being very impressed with the thought process behind CuparNow last year, and this year it has really proved itself. Not only that, it is a wonderful blueprint for other business districts looking for ways to support businesses and come together.”
Holly Worthington, Content Editor, Modern Retail: “CuparNow’s ongoing work meant that the town was prepared for an essential digital focus due to lockdowns. Sharing important messaging in innovative ways, CuparNow continues to benefit both businesses and locals, growing reach on an impressive scale!”
Julie Driscoll, UK Regional Director, Hyve Group plc (Spring Fair): “A unique model of how the digital world can be harnessed to support the local community. A great example of how building engagement online can positively impact a locality.”
Rob Gamage, Managing Director, Modern Retail: “CuparNow offers a pioneering service to it’s local community and benefits local retail incredibly as a result. Their digital-first model is one that should inspire many other places to expand on their online marketing efforts.”
We attended the virtual awards’ ceremony live – and shared our congratulations to all the nominees and thew winner of our category – Made in Ashford.
