Luvians – Upcoming Tasting Events

Despite not being able to run the in-house tasting events, Luvians has adapted and innovated and are delivering their Tastings by Zoom.? Here is a list of what is coming up – some great looking events and all from the safety of your own home.

How does Luvians do Tastings by Zoom?

You buy your ticket and you can either pick up your samples from the store or they can be mailed out to you.? You’ll also receive tasting notes for each wine & the whisky making this the ideal tasting for a couple sitting at home in glorious isolation no matter what tier you are in.
To allow us the broadest possible range we are decanting from full bottles into sterilized 250ml bottles which we then seal. After extensive testing, these smaller bottles hold quite happily for at least a week and you will be tasting them just 3 days after we?ve bottled them.
250ml gives you at least 2 glasses of each wine, ideal for revisiting the next night if you are tasting solo.
Via Zoom, you?ll be joining a couple of dozen wine, whisky or sherry lovers around the country, have the chance to ask questions, chat to other members of the group and sit in your favourite chair in the comfort of your living room.

How to Book

To book a places, you just need to email ( or phone (01334 477752) St Andrews, let us know which tasting you would like to book, name, phone number, email address and whether you would like to collect in store or have the wines delivered.? Or pop into your local Cupar shop on Bonnygate.
Luvians are also offering the option of private Zoom tastings for those who want an alternative to Christmas drinks or a staff night out. These start from ?25per person for spirits & ?50 per set for wine (but wines are 250ml bottles, so ideal for a couple sharing) and a minimum of 6 people per tasting.

At Luvians we are huge sherry lovers, both as a complex, varied and outstandingly good value wine style, and as the source of some of the greatest whisky barrels in the world. We will be looking at both sides of this in our UK Sherry Week tasting, sampling 5 stunning wines from one of our favourite sherry producers, Lustau, as well as sampling a stunning Glenrothes whisky that spent all 24 of it?s years maturing in a Lustau oloroso cask.
